Playstation 3 Downloads

I myself have had this moment, it's frustrating it's irritating and you just can't stand it. Well like all other problems there just had to be a solution, I myself went through these phases in my epic quest of finding the perfect PS3 file sharing site (download site).

The first phase:

Like most other's first phases, searching the net for online sites where one can download unlimited free PS3 games. I was actually starting to believe it could work, until I started getting these weird pop-ups over and over again, I checked my Anti - Virus to find out that I had gotten quite a few spy wares and a huge lump of viruses. Some of the websites did have a few downloadable games, but very slow download speed, this was obviously not the kind of choice I had in mind.

The second phase:

I was getting sick and tired of joining all the sites with viruses and slow download speeds, I started to search for a bit more interesting sites witch you had to pay for to download, I thought that this sounded a bit more trust worthy site rather than the free once.

In my pursuit of happiness as I refer to it, I was actually starting to believe that there are a few sites that do give high speed downloadable games directly to your PS3. After completing a registration to one of the sites that I found, I saw something that scattered my pursuit of happiness: I needed to pay for every download I made; this is not acceptable, because the price was almost the same as the games in the local gaming shop.

The third phase:

At this point I was about ready to give up and just go and buy the games from the local gaming shop, and at the brink of destruction I found something rather interesting. This site,

Download the Games Online, witch allows you to download unlimited PS3 games, movies and music. This was too good to be true I thought, there has to be some catch. There was no catch at all. All I had to was to pay one monthly fee and I could have the power to download unlimited PS3 games, movies and music.

So I've summed it up for you like this:

You can search for free downloadable PS3 games, and end up with viruses, and very slow downloading speed.

You can search for websites where you have to pay to download, and pay hundreds of dollars to download 1-2 games, and a monthly fee OR!

You can join the best rated PS3 Downloading site on the web, and download unlimited PS3 Games, Movies and Music for just one monthly fee, with high quality downloading speed, and no viruses or spy ware at all.

PSP and It's Possibilities

The PSP was released a couple of years ago and the cost was high for such a small entertainment device, the price was around $250. But once it hit the shelves, nobody even cared about or even looked at the price and it was quickly sold out. It was also hard for any suspected buyer to find one for a few months after it's release so it was like first come first serve.

It came in a value pack with a battery, headphones with a remote, a 32mb memory stick and a soft case. In March of 2006 they cut the package down. You got the PSP system, a battery pack and an AC adapter and the price also went down to a more affordable price of $200.

The PSP was released in order to beat Nintendo's Game Boy Advance and Game Boy DS, which were at the top of the home console industry with portable game systems for almost a decade. Sony looked at the success of their Playstation 2 and turned it into a portable game system called the Playstation Portable (PSP). In addition to playing games with Playstation 2 graphics, it can play music and movies that were downloaded from the internet or by disc, download and save your favorite pictures so it acts like a digital picture album and it can also surf the internet. Now the PSP is the king of the portable game industry.

Now, the PSP is at a way more affordable price of around $170 and is slowly getting more additions to it's gaming arsenal of fun. You can get different backgrounds and themes, different software additions like bigger speakers so you can really hear what's playing, you can customize the front and back covers to your liking, get handles to make it feel like a Playstation 2 controller, and lots of other cool things.

PSP downloads are a good source of music, games and movies and is the cheapest way to go rather than having to go buy a new game that costs more than a new Playstation 2 game. All you need is a computer with internet connection and a connection for the PSP to the computer. With PSP downloads you can download and burn as many games, movies and as much music as you want. So have lots of fun with you PSP and newly downloaded games.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Personal Review

It's been a while since I've played Rainbow Six Vegas (the first one) on my PC. I was still using my old video card, GeForce 6600GT back then with low to medium graphics settings :) It was quite a cool game but got repetitive afterwards. Find an enemy, hide, and shoot from your hide-out. Go to the next room and repeat. So I was quite excited that they've made the second one. While Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has the same kind of formula, it's an under estimation to say Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is the same like its predecessor. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is an FPS (First Person Shooter) game. You are the leader of a small team (a 3-man team) of an international special force organization called Rainbow Six.

You can issue simple commands to your team (Go to a certain location, stacking up on doors preparing for an entry, throwing grenades at a certain point, etc) but it will be very minimal and if you really up to a challenge, you can simply ask your team to "Hold position" and do your mission Rambo-style. As you may have noticed from the title, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is played on...Vegas. Well luckily, not all of the time though. You'll be hopping from the casinos to an airstrip, so be prepared for both close quarter combats and long range combats.

A.C.E.S and Ranks

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 offers new features such as the A.C.E.S points and Ranks. You'll gain experience from killing enemies and when you complete an Assault, a Close Quarter Battle (CQB), or a Marksman level. Once you gain experiences, you can be promoted to the next rank of military (sergeant, lieutenant, etc). Being promoted to higher ranks will open up new armors for both appearance and protection. By gaining ranks in Assault, CQB, or Marksman, new weapons will be available for you to play around with. Each weapon will be available once you've completed a certain rank of a specific area. So for example, obviously, to get a better sniper rifle, you'll need to complete a certain rank of Marksman, etc.

Depends on how you kill the enemy, you'll gain these points accordingly. For example:

  • Killing someone with a head-shot, or while climbing down a rope: Get Marksman Points.
  • Killing someone at close range, or while you are being blinded with Flashbang: Get CQB Points.
  • Killing someone with an explosive, or when hiding behind a cover: Get Assault Points.

You can find out how to get these points from the main menu. Your character will "level up" RPG style and although you won't be gaining any attributes, you'll gain more arsenal for some killin' frenzy. Sadly though, when you unlock new weapons, they don't necessarily better than your old ones. It'd be great if the newer weapons are all better than the one that you are currently using, but some do and some don't.

Character Customization

After you have access to new armors, clothing, and weapons, you can customize them in-game or on the main menu. You'll see this on your character in-game, so it's quite fun actually to customize your character a bit.

Storyline

Nothing much to tell, apart from a big-bad terrorist trying to wreak havoc in the city by taking hostages and bombing stuffs. Very old school and very predictable. However, fun is the key in this game, not the storyline.

Gameplay

Fun is what this game is all about. It's fun to play, especially once the action starts. Hiding behind covers, throwing grenades, breaching a room, playing it as if you really are in a special force team, are all fun to do. There are 3 difficulty levels in the game, but I wish there were 4. The realistic mode (the hardest) can get on your nerves as the enemies are more accurate when they shoot. While it can be fun and challenging, sometimes I had to repeat 5-6 times of a certain sub-level (Your game will be saved automatically on a certain checkpoints during a mission, so, No, no quick-saving and loading :)). If you've been playing some FPS games, I'd suggest to use the hardest level (Realistic) but when you get frustrated, tone down the difficulty a bit (You only need to repeat that mission and not the entire game!). I think I've repeated about 10 times on the final boss (at the end of the game) lol. Or maybe I'm just suck. The medium difficulty however, is kind of a joke, as you can have 10 grenades instead of 4 and also unlimited ammo :)

A.I

The A.I is okay, I guess. It's not dumb but it's not the best, either. Your teammates are good on their own and won't block your path. They'll find their own cover when the shooting starts. This goes to the enemies too. They'll find somewhere to hide, shoot behind covers, keep hiding when being suppressed, and will try to flank you sometimes. It's kinda funny though when you start putting your silencer on. It feels as if you are turning on a cheat mode. It's kinda cool to play stealthily on certain areas and you'll find that the enemies are dumb enough not to notice your presence. Once you take out that silencer however, one shot from you will invite the whole cavalry.

Conclusion

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 offers a new ranking and points system to its predecessor. It also improves what was offered before on the first series. I found that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 single player campaign was quite short (probably as short as Call of Duty 4?). So if you want to buy it, do so but make sure that you'll play it online too. If you haven't got Call of Duty 4, it will be a tough decision to choose between the 2, but Call of Duty 4 has a more variety of missions to play, compared to Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The fun factor is different, though. One word to describe them: Call of Duty 4 is "cool" where as Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is "fun".

Technology Matrix

Each passing day brings a new technology in our lives. People are getting more and more facilities in their lives at the expense of their physical health. People are getting more and more life styles. What people used to do 100 years back by spending at least 24 hours can now be done within few minutes. Yeah, it has of course made things much easier and saved our precious time but now people don't have much time more themselves what they usually have 100 years back. Technology had made people more and more greedy about money and power. What where is our simple and life values. Are we getting entrapped in some kind of technology matrix.

What will be the scenario after 100 years, are we really control machines or machines will control us? This is a Billion Dollar question (oops again money). So, I think we are already entrapped in a matrix which is covered by thousand of matrix and at last there is only matrix covering all smaller matrixes.

We should have something with us to save our next generations from this trap, which may destroy the Human Race or? Humanity?

Oh God, Prepare Us for The Matrix.
